High condenser tube is a three-dimensional high-efficiency condensing heat transfer tube developed by our company, suitable for refrigeration, power, petrochemical (light hydrocarbons such as ethylene, propylene, ethane, propane) and other fields. It is mainly suitable for enhancing heat transfer through outer condensation of clean fluids, and its condensation heat transfer effect is far superior to ordinary high-efficiency condenser tubes such as screwed tubes, spiral grooved tubes, corrugated tubes, etc. The condensation process outside the tube is the process in which the process gas phase fluid condenses and releases latent heat of vaporization on the outer wall of the metal, and the condensation process produce a condensate forms.
According to the two main forms of condensed liquid, it can be divided into membrane condensation and droplet condensation.Membrane condensation forms a liquid film of condensed liquid that completely wets the wall surface of the condenser. The phase change heat (latent heat) released by condensation must pass through the liquid film in order to be transferred to the cooling wall surface, and the liquid film layer becomes the main thermal resistance for heat transfer. When droplet condensation don’t wet the wall well, the condensate forms small droplets on the wall and continuously carries other droplets along the way due to gravity, flowing down the wall. The heat transfer coefficient during droplet condensation is several times or even an order of magnitude larger than that of film condensation under the same conditions, making it an ideal condensation heat transfer process.
Our company's high condenser tube is a special reinforced tube with threads on the outer surface, which utilizes the effect of fluid surface tension on film peeling. The special wing tip structure at the top of the thread tears the liquid film, and the special parabolic shape of the thread achieves rapid liquid withdrawal. The three-dimensional fin structure causes disturbance of the liquid film to enhance heat transfer. The special groove at the bottom of the thread accelerates the discharge of condensed liquid, reduces the thickness of the liquid film, and ultimately promotes the formation of a droplet like condensation enhancement heat transfer effect on the outer surface of the heat transfer tube. Through experimental testing, the enhancement effect on the condensation side is 4-6 times that of the smooth tube, making it the best tube type for external reinforcement.
